Deb’s King Room and Casita
Thanks for the inquiry about Casa de Kathy’s apartments. Neither is available for the dates you want. Here is some information about my neighbor’s two rooms. They are located next door to me. (Scroll down if you want to rent the entire house.)

The King Room ($80 per night) is accessed through the back door of the house. The room has a king-size bed and dresser and a nicely tiled bathroom. We provide sheets, bath towels and beach towels. There are no kitchen facilities, but there is a coffee pot, refrigerator, and microwave. You have the use of beach chairs, coolers and a beach umbrella. The balcony has a panoramic view of the south coast and Esperanza. The balcony is on the front of the house and is accessed from a stairway from the yard. You have the use of a washing machine/dryer. You would be sharing the backyard and the balcony with the guests in the casita. The casita is in the back yard. Please note that there are singing roosters in the neighborhood but that is normal for Esperanza.
Casita ($70 per night) is located in the back yard of the main house. It has a small bedroom with a queen bed and a separate bathroom. The bedroom is 11 feet by 7.5 feet It has AC and a large wall fan. The casita has been completely renovated with ceramic tiles in both rooms. Bed sheets, bath towels and beach towels are provided. There is a small refrigerator, microwave oven, and coffee pot. There is no stove (but you could cook outside the casita on a small barbecue). There is a table and chairs outside in the yard. Please note that there are singing roosters in the neighborhood but that is normal for Esperanza.
Deb’s House: The entire 3 bedroom house is also available for rent.
The house has 3 bedrooms with AC throughout the house. The bedroom has a king bed and the other two have two twin beds. There is a kitchen and a living room. We provide sheets, bath towels, beach towels and umbrella, coolers and beach chairs. We also have a small crib. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator and is fully equipped with dishes and pots. The balcony has a panoramic view of the south coast and Esperanza. The yard is pleasantly cultivated with tropical flowers and a lemon tree for your enjoyment. You have the use of a washing machine and dryer. You would be sharing the backyard with the guests in the casita (which is in the backyard).
The house is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood and is two blocks from the “malecon” or boardwalk where you will find the beach and about a half dozen restaurants (five minutes walking). Sun Bay, the public beach, is a 15 minute walk. Staying in Esperanza means you do not need a car to take advantage of the many nearby beaches, but you may want a car to go to remote beaches. I can also recommend Kiani Tours, operated by licensed excursionist Letty Perez (at 787-556-6003). She offers a 3-hour tour of important sites and beaches.
